Director Sajid Khan, with his claims that Housefull 2 will be a bigger hit than Housefull, sounds quite cocky and overconfident. But it looks like a lot of filmmakers too think that this comic caper, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is set to get a big opening.

As many as six film promos have been attached to Housefull 2 - Prabhu Deva’s Rowdy Rathore, Kunal Kohli’s Teri Meri Kahani, Priyadarshan’s Tezz, Ekta Kapoor’s Kya Super Kool Hain Hum, Supavitra Babul’s Bittoo Boss and Shoojit Sircar’s Vicky Donor. We hear that the leading men of Housefull 2, John Abraham and Akshay Kumar sent special requests to their friend Nadidawala to allow Vicky Donor and Rowdy Rathore to be attached. That’s not all. There are five more producers who are trying to persuade Nadiadwala.

There’s always a risk that, with so many trailers being shown, there will be more trailer time than the film itself and the audience might doze off even before the start of the movie. Nadiadwala knows that this might annoy his audience and wants to reduce the number, but just doesn’t know how to say ‘no’. “All of them are my friends. Who could I say no to?” he said in an interview. “But as the number of trailers grows, I feel the trailers are not attached to Housefull 2. It’s the other way around. Housefull 2 is attached to the trailers,” he added.

It’ll be interesting to see how Nadiadwala finally manages to get out of this mess. But what’s more exciting for us is imagining how all these producers will react if Housefull 2 tanks!
